Following reports that offensive coordinator Mike Bobo will not return to Auburn for the 2022 season, multiple offensive players and one defensive player have entered the transfer portal.

Running back Shaun Shivers, wide receiver Elijah Canion, offensive lineman Tashawn Manning and defensive end Caleb Johnson will not return to Auburn for the 2022 season.

Shivers was listed as No. 2 on the depth chart at running back earlier this season before true freshman Jarquez Hunter bumped Shivers to No. 3 a few games in. Throughout his four-season career at Auburn, Shivers appeared in 43 games, rushed for 1,020 yards and eight touchdowns.

One of those touchdowns was against Alabama in 2019, when Shivers "ran through a man," according to Andy Burcham's radio call, knocking the helmet off of Alabama's Xavier McKinney on his way to the end zone.

Canion didn't appear much in games for the Tigers in two seasons, averaging 1.2 receptions per game.

Manning will transfer after appearing in eight games this season and 23 games throughout his career.

After appearing in every game in 2020, Johnson appeared in three games this season for the Tigers. He finishes his Auburn career with 18 tackles, four tackles for loss and a sack.
