A 3-star wide receive has committed to Auburn, the school announced Wednesday.
Camden Brown, originally a Pittsburgh commit, announced on Dec. 2 that he would be reopening his commitment.
The 3-star receiver is out of St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Coming in at 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, Brown can be an immediate threat on Auburn’s offense.
Brown had strong interest in Florida State, Georgia and South Carolina, but chose to play for Auburn and receivers coach Eric Kiesau.
Auburn’s wide receiving core was notoriously poor during the season, leading the SEC in drops for a handful of weeks. The Tigers lost receivers Demetris Robertson to graduation and Elijah Canion transferred, so Brown has a chance to make an impact from the start.
During his senior season, Brown had 24 catches for 483 yards and seven scores in nine games.
Brown is the third wide receiver commit for 2022, joining Omari Kelly and Jay Fair.
