Jeffrey M'ba, the No. 1 rated JUCO player in the country according to 247Sports, has committed and signed to Auburn. The 6-foot-6 defensive lineman coming from Independence Community College signed on Dec. 15, but announced his decision on Sunday.
Originally from France, M'ba had several SEC schools pursuing him, but only three appeared in his Top 10 that he dropped on Nov. 17.
Tennessee and Missouri were pushing hard for M'ba, they were prominent programs on the lineman's social media accounts leading up to his signing with Auburn.
It's a big addition to Bryan Harsin's class of 2022, which already has two defensive lineman committed or signed. Enyce Sledge is signed to the Tigers as a defensive tackle while Caden Story is committed as a defensive end.
