Auburn basketball is knocking on the door of the AP Top 10. The Tigers were ranked No. 11 in the latest poll, released on Monday.

They are the highest-ranked team in the SEC for the first time this season.

The rest of the conference field in the poll is Tennessee at No. 14, LSU at No. 16, Kentucky at No. 18 and Alabama at No. 19.

While the SEC is the lone Power Five conference without a team in the Top 10, the conference has five total ranked teams. It's tied with the Big 12 Conference for most ranked teams by a single conference.

Auburn's next opponent, No. 16 LSU, is one of five teams remaining in college basketball without a loss. The two will face off in a top-15 matchup later this week on Wednesday from Auburn Arena.

That game will tip-off at 6 p.m. CST and will be broadcast on ESPNU.
