Auburn women's basketball game against New Orleans on Sunday has been canceled, the school announced on Saturday.
The game was set for 2 p.m. from Auburn Arena, but due to health and safety protocols within the New Orleans program, the contest has been canceled. It is the first cancelation or postponement for either team this season.
The Tigers will continue their season on Wednesday with a road trip to Belmont, which will end the nine-day hiatus without a game. Tip off is set for 7 p.m. CST from Nashville, Tennessee.
Auburn will return to its home court a week from today on Saturday, Dec. 18, when it faces Grambling State at 2 p.m.
