Following its 15-point win over ranked LSU last week, Auburn has moved into the Top 10 in the latest AP Top 25 poll, which was released Monday.
The Tigers are the highest-ranked team in the SEC for the second consecutive week.
Other SEC teams include No. 15 Alabama, No. 16 Kentucky, No. 18 Tennessee and No. 21 LSU. The five teams from the SEC are tied with the Big 12 for most ranked teams from a single conference.
Auburn's 70-55 win over LSU moved them up two spots, jumping Michigan State and Iowa State. Meanwhile, the loss knocked LSU down five spots to No. 21.
The Tigers' next contest will be a road game against South Carolina on Jan. 3, with tip-off set for 5:30 p.m. CST. The game is South Carolina's SEC opener and will be broadcast on SEC Network.
