Hale, a junior in finance with a minor in real estate development, is one of the SGA senators representing the Harbert College of Business and the chair of the Budget and Finance Committee. He is also a member of the Auburn Finance Society and serves as the Concessions Board Undergraduate Representative for the SGA.
He shared that his role serving as a senator has been a defining quality of his Auburn experience, preparing him to run for vice president.
"The challenges I’ve faced, the skills I’ve developed and the commitment I’ve shown have prepared me to serve as Vice President of the Auburn University Student Government Association," Hale said. "In this role, I plan to actively support the student body, strengthen the Student senate and create meaningful impact through three guiding principles: Here’s What’s On The Table, Play Your Hand and All In."
Here's What's On The Table
When discussing his point "Here's What's On The Table," Hale shared that it comes down to transparency and accountability. Hale believes that students who receive trustworthy information and visibility will make better decisions.
"I plan to improve safety alerts, share construction updates through social media and ensure campus information is easier to access and understand. Consistent communication will minimize confusion, clarify decisions and build stronger trust between students and administration. Here’s What’s On The Table ensures every student knows what’s happening and why," Hale said.
Play Your Hand
The focus for "Play Your Hand" highlights budget oversight and allocation. Hale believes that wisely managing resources is a great quality to possess.
"One of my top priorities is ensuring student activity fees, funds that come from student tuition, are invested in events and initiatives that benefit the entire student body," Hale said. "I plan to work closely with the incoming Budget & Finance Committee to provide guidance, strengthen oversight and ensure funds are used responsibly. Play Your Hand reflects the importance of thoughtful, equitable allocation."
All In
His final principle, "All In" is about impacting every student through support and partnerships.
"Being All In means everyone gets a chance to participate. I’m committed to supporting programs and initiatives that serve all students, not just those already connected to campus organizations. By helping Senators meet their goals, encouraging inclusive programming, and raising awareness of SGA initiatives, we can build a campus where every student feels seen, heard, and valued," Hale said. "Collaboration will be essential. Partnering SGA with other organizations will broaden our reach and help gather meaningful feedback. I plan to place “feedback stations” around campus so students can comfortably and anonymously share their thoughts, giving us clearer insight into what they need."
Lilly Pool

Pool, a junior in English literature with a double minor in business and philosophy, has served two terms as SGA at-large senator and a chair of the COL committee. She is also apart of the Auburn University Academic Honesty Committee, Cardinal Key Honor Society and serves as the director of history for Alpha Gamma Delta.
Her platform is centered around a specific line of the Auburn Creed that says, “I believe in honesty and truthfulness, without which I cannot win the respect and confidence of my fellow men.” I believe that to be most successful and have meaningful impact on the student body, the student senate must be grounded in honesty and truthfulness."
Pool shared that while attending Auburn as an out-of-state student, the impact the university had on her and many others became evident.
"Auburn is a place where students are encouraged, involved, and challenged. A community that actively shapes those who participate in it," Pool said. "What makes each of our Auburn experiences and journey’s special, though, is not the roles we fill or the organizations we serve, it is the people we grow with along the way. It is the unexpected friendships we find within those organizations, within the meetings, through the conversations on the concourse. Our time at Auburn would never be the same without the ones we dive in with."
Embrace, engage and empower are the key points within Pool's campaign.
Embrace
To Pool, embracing the Auburn experience entails stepping out of what is comfortable and get involved.
"My goal is to encourage students, especially those who feel uncertain or new, to dive in, challenge themselves, and find their place in Auburn’s community," Pool said.
Engage
Pool believes creating a senate body begins with actively listening and communicating.
"I am committed to fostering a Senate that values open communication, transparency and thoughtful collaboration with our other entities on campus and the SGA Cabinet," Pool said. "By supporting and encouraging senators to actively engage with student feedback and respond honestly, the Senate can better reflect the voices and needs of the students it represents."
Empower
To be in a leadership position such as vice president, Pool shared that it is important to her that senators feel empowered.
"As Vice President, I vow to serve as a resource for senators by providing the guidance, tools and encouragement needed to lead effectively. By empowering senators to feel confident and informed, we can lead meaningful initiatives that positively impact Auburn students," Pool said. "It would be the greatest honor of my Auburn experience, to serve the students as the SGA Vice President."
The election will be held on Friday, Feb. 6, and voting will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at aub.ie/sgavote.
