On Nov. 5, Auburn’s Turning Point USA (TPUSA) chapter hosted “This is the Turning Point Tour” in Neville Arena. The main speakers for the event were Senator Tommy Tuberville, Benny Johnson, Lara and Eric Trump. Lines formed for the event around 2:00 p.m. and the doors opened at 5:00 p.m.

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) held an event on Auburn’s campus on Nov. 5, 2025. In lieu of the event, protesters gathered at the intersection of Thach Concourse and South Donahue at 5 p.m. while the TPUSA event started at 6:30 p.m. The protest was peaceful and unaffiliated with any student organizations.

Filled with overflowing kindness and a welcoming spirit, Lainey Anderson made an effort to spread love wherever she went. During her time at Auburn, she was dedicated to including everyone at the table, while being a constant friend in her relationships. Anderson graduated from Auburn this past May with a degree in professional flight from the School of Aviation with a minor in finance. She was also a certified flight instructor at Sander’s Aviation in Jasper, Ala.

Auburn football will play Notre Dame in a home-and-home matchup in the 2027 and 2028 seasons as part of its non-conference schedule, the team announced Wednesday afternoon. The 2027 game will be hosted by Notre Dame in South Bend, and the 2028 matchup will be hosted by Auburn in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

After 240 long days, Auburn basketball returned home to Neville Arena, but this time with an entirely new look. In an evening that was supposed to be a comfortable season opener to commence the 120th season of Auburn basketball and the start of the Steven Pearl era, the Tigers instead found themselves in a nerve-racking clash. Auburn overcame a shaky performance to win in overtime, defeating Bethune-Cookman 95-90 in front of an electric, rowdy crowd.

"Who will be Auburn's next head football coach?" That is the question that is circulating around the country and specifically in the minds of the many fans and supporters of the university. I have decided to go through each of the top names surrounding the coaching search and give them a rating on the likelihood that Auburn would want to and be able to hire them, along with how good I think the hire would be by giving them a rating on their quality. I will be doing these rankings on a scale of one to five with one being the worst and five being the best, to determine where I have each of the hires.

Boxcar, located in downtown Opelika, is a nonprofit establishment opening in early 2026 that will primarily screen unique films from a variety of genres. It will have a cinema, a lounge area and a bar, while showcasing other forms of art through live performance.

Many college students grew up with a background of athletics, competing and being a part of a team. Coming to college can be scary for students who are worried they will lose the competitive outlet that they grew up loving. Luckily at Auburn, you do not need to be a “D1 athlete” to continue competing recreationally.

On Nov. 2, Sam Hendrix, a local author and historian, led a walking tour around what used to be known as "Faculty Row." Beginning at Auburn Oil Co. Booksellers, Hendrix discussed his in-depth research into the notable figures of Auburn University throughout the 19th and 20th century while leading attendees to locations connected to those faculty members.

Within the past couple of years, recent fitness additions, such as workout classes or local gyms, have grown to help students maintain healthy lifestyles year-round. These new fitness communities are becoming multigenerational, as they are populated with college students and residents who enjoy a breadth of exercise options.

Lloyd is a junior in commercial music at Auburn University and has been making music for the past ten years. After years of waiting by excited fans, "Hollow Knight: Silksong," the sequel to the acclaimed "Hollow Knight," was released by indie developer Team Cherry on Sept. 4. The game was so highly anticipated that it crashed Steam, a widely-used platform hosting thousands of video games. After years of "Silksong tomorrow" jokes and theorizing, fans across the globe descended upon Steam all at once. As a Hollow Knight fan I, too, coveted my chance to play "Hollow Knight: Silksong" with bated breath until I finally got the opportunity. Through all this excitement, however, we must ask ourselves: Is it worth the hype?
