On March 27, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) held its inaugural Arts Fest to highlight its work in visual arts and fundraise for its planned building expansion. The public festival consisted of an art show, art demonstrations, live music, food trucks and a silent auction as attendees explored the South College Street campus.

At first glance, these comments seem rude but unwavering; however, the reality of code-switching from AAVE to standardized English, and the racially based blockades correlated in these systems, showcases a present issue in corporate culture.

The No. 1 Auburn Tigers men’s golf team wrapped up their appearance in the Valspar Collegiate Invitational in Palm City, Fla., this week, finishing as runner-up to No. 10 Texas Tech. This result marks the Tigers’ third runner-up finish in their last four invitationals. The final two days for the Tigers saw solid performances all around, but not enough to stop a surging Texas Tech team that combined to go 34 under over those two days. The finish leaves a somewhat bitter taste in the team's mouth after leading through the first two days, even going up by four shots after day one.

The Auburn Tigers’ softball team won its third straight game Monday night, taking down the Florida A&M Rattlers 8–3. This week, the Tigers will play against the South Alabama Jaguars before returning to SEC play to take on Missouri for their third conference series this season. After taking two out of three games in a home series against Kentucky to kick off the SEC season, Auburn ran into a tough opponent in the No. 5 Oklahoma Sooners, who swept the Tigers in Norman. Auburn has now picked up three straight wins since that series and appears to be heading back steadily into conference play.

Tiger Cage, Auburn University’s version of the popular television show "Shark Tank," is holding its finals this Wednesday, March 25, in the Broadway Event Space and Theater located in Horton-Hardgrave Hall. From 9:15 a.m. to 12 p.m., five Auburn University students will pitch their innovative early-stage product or service ideas to compete for up to $135,000 in startup capital, which will be awarded at 1:35 p.m.

The Auburn Tigers’ women’s swim and dive team headed to McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta last weekend to compete in the NCAA Championship. The team showed great resilience over the weekend, scoring 19 of their 25 points in the final two days to finish tied for 25th place overall. This marked a ten-spot improvement from their placement a year ago and more than doubled their total score from 2025. The Tigers ultimately had six athletes earn All-American honorable mentions across 10 events, with five of them being sophomores or younger, showcasing the exciting potential Auburn could have in the coming years.

In late February, the United States’ Department of Defense announced Auburn as a potential new partner for military education programs. In these military education programs, promising military personnel are often given a 1-year fellowship in civilian education facilities to develop knowledge and skills that would allow them to be better assets to the U.S. military.
