No. 11 men's golf wins Inverness Intercollegiate

The No. 11 Auburn men’s golf team won the Inverness Intercollegiate on Sept. 20, carding a 2-under 282 for a final 9-under 843 at the Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio. The Tigers (280-281-282—843) defeated No. 23 Duke (277-281-288—846) by three strokes. “The team played great and our seniors led the way,” Auburn head coach Nick Clinard said.

Tre Williams moves on to LSU

With two losses in three weeks and Leonard Fournette's LSU Tigers looming large, Auburn must figure out what went wrong against Texas A&M and turn things around in arguably the biggest game for the program since 2014. Junior linebacker Tre Williams had six tackles (tied for the team high) to lead Auburn's defense to another spirited performance in the loss to the Aggies.
