A Chevy Equinox struck a Jeep Wrangler and overturned onto its passenger side tires to rest against two parked vehicles in front of Quixote's on Wednesday night.
The Equinox, driven by a woman in her mid-20s, was traveling toward Toomer's Corner on North College Street when it struck the Jeep from behind at the crosswalk between Mellow Mushroom and Quixote's. Two men in the Wrangler were unharmed, but the driver of the Equinox suffered minor injuries and was transported to the East Alabama Medical Center.
Lieutenant Jonathan Ley with the Auburn Police Department said they received the call at 7:53 p.m., and that it is still unknown whether alcohol was involved in the wreck.
