After serving 76 days in Lee County Detention Facility, Harvey Updyke will begin five years of supervised probation following his release Monday, June 10.
Updyke pleaded guilty to criminal damage of an animal or crop facility and was sentenced to 6 months in jail for poisoning the now-gone Toomer's oak trees on March 22.
Updyke was originally arrested in Jan. 2011 and poisoned the iconic trees after Alabama's 28-27 loss to Auburn in the 2010 Iron Bowl.
Although he is now out of jail and set to complete his probation demands in his home in Louisiana, Updyke still has some issues to settle.
Updyke was arrested in Sept. 2012 for assault charges at a Lowe's in Hammond, La. for allegedly threatening employees at the home improvement store.
The Lee County District Attorney's Office is also attempting to take Updyke back to court in an effort to get $1 million for damages to the trees.
