After upsets across the nation and a blowout win against LSU Saturday, Auburn finally moved up from the No. 5 spot in the AP and Coaches Poll.
The Tigers (5-0, 2-0) are ranked 2nd in both the Amway Coaches Poll and the AP poll. Auburn received 16 first place votes in the Coaches Poll while receiving 23 in the AP.
The Tigers next opponent, Mississippi State, moved up to No. 3 in the AP Poll.
That game is next Saturday in Starkville, Mississippi at a soon to be announced time. ESPN's College Gameday will be in Starkville for the game.
LSU was the first in a treacherous run of opponents for Auburn, which includes five teams ranked in the top 15, as well as four in the top 10.
Only two of the Tigers opponents the rest of the way are unranked; Samford, and South Carolina.
