Auburn fans making the trip to Oxford this weekend will not be able to carry shakers with stick handles into Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Saturday night for the Tigers' matchup with No. 4 Ole Miss.
The University of Mississippi sent out an email Wednesday night that read, "Please be aware that 'sticks and poles' are not allowed inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. This includes standard Auburn shakers. Only shakers with paddle handles will be allowed."
The game between the Tigers and the Rebels will kickoff at 6:00 p.m. Saturday night and will be broadcast on ESPN.
