Auburn jumped in the polls this week despite having a bye thanks to losses from then No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 4 Baylor.
In the Amway Coaches poll, the Tigers moved to No. 6, while taking No. 5 in the AP poll. Mississippi State remains in the top spot after enjoying a bye weekend.
The Tigers have a home game this weekend against South Carolina and Auburn will look to get a win before facing No. 3 Ole Miss on the road.
Auburn still has No. 9 Georgia and No. 4 Alabama on the schedule in addition to the Rebels.
The Tigers head into the second half of the season with all of their Top 10 matchups on the road, but first they have to get through the Gamecocks at Jordan-Hare on Saturday.
