Updated at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 6: The body of a woman found in an Auburn creek on Jan. 4 has been identified.
Police identified Christina Marie Cyr, 45, after receiving confirmation from the State Medical Examiner's Office.
Police said Cyr's family reported her missing from her residence in the 1800 block of Dellia Drive on Dec. 21.
A preliminary investigation revealed Cyr had a history of mental illness and likely left on her own.
Police said no foul play is suspected and Cyr's death is likely accidental, but the case remains under investigation.

A woman's body was found in a creek behind a residence in 1800 block of Blue Creek Lane in Auburn on Sunday morning, Jan. 4.
Auburn Police Capt. Lorenza Dorsey said the woman was believed to be a resident of the area where the body was found.
"At this point, there does not appear to be any criminal involvement," Dorsey said.
According to Dorsey, the body was taken to Montgomery for an autopsy.
