An Auburn student was injured in a motorcycle accident at Reese Avenue and College Street.
Tyrone Guice, shift commander at the Auburn Division, confirmed the student is a white male.
Captain Lorenza Dorsey said the 19-year-old student was airlifted from the scene to Columbus Regional Medical Center.
According to Dorsey, the student crashed into a 2010 Nissan Sentra driven by a 22-year-old female from Troy, Alabama.
The female was traveling southbound and was preparing to make a left turn onto Reese Avenue when the car was hit from behind.
