After a long-awaited decision concerning Auburn’s forward powerhouse, Cinmeon Bowers, got the OK to play for the 2016 season, according to AL.com.

Bowers was forced to sit out the final Auburn appearance in this year’s SEC Men's Basketball Tournament, where the Tigers were stomped by the Kentucky Wildcats to close out their season, 91-67.

Pearl told AL.com that no further penalties will be executed against the 6-foot-8 player.

Although details have yet to be revealed, Pearl said Bowers is “good to go for next season.”

This decision is vital for the future of Auburn men's basketball this upcoming season, considering the loss of KT Harrell and Antione Mason concluding the tournament in March. Bowers falls behind both as the leading returner, averaging 12.1 points and 9.6 rebounds.
