After a season full of already broken records, the Tigers continue to shock Auburn’s athletic program with success in the 2015 season, even after their Women's College World Series run was cut short.
On Tuesday morning, June 9, the final USA Today/NFCA Poll ranked Auburn third in the Top 25.
The Tigers finished with 56 wins overall, only recording 11 loses.
Auburn then went 2-2 in its first WCWS falling to LSU in the series opener, but brining in wins against Tennessee and UCLA.
It was a nine-inning fight against the WCWS Champions of Florida that pushed the Tigers out and ended a huge season.
The Tigers will start practice back up later this year in the fall.
