Eli Manning helps set world record at Toomer's Corner

On July 8, the Auburn Family joined Eli Manning, retired NFL Quarterback and two-time Super Bowl MVP, on his show Eli's Places in the rolling of Toomer’s Corner with over 3,000 rolls of toilet paper, officially setting a new Guinness World Record. Manning is the host for Eli’s Places, an ESPN+ series that celebrates college football by highlighting college football history and traditions. Auburn’s iconic tradition of rolling Toomer’s Corner after a sports victory is the next college tradition to be featured.

Senator Tommy Tuberville announces 2026 Alabama governor campaign in Auburn

On Tuesday, May 27, Senator Tommy Tuberville announced his 2026 bid for Alabama governor at local restaurant Byron’s Smokehouse in Auburn, Alabama. With incumbent Governor Kay Ivey term-limited and ineligible for re-election, former Auburn football coach Tuberville is considered a likely gubernatorial candidate for the Republican Party. However, as candidates step up and campaigns launch, one fact is for certain: Alabama residents–regardless of partisanship–will be following along.

On Thursday, April 3, the Auburn chapter of Turning Point USA hosted actress and conservative figure Leigh-Allyn Baker. Famous for her acting role in the Disney Channel original show Good Luck Charlie and recent conservative activism, Baker spoke about navigating Hollywood, standing up against cancel culture and advocating for bodily autonomy against vaccinations to hundreds of attendees.

Auburn Family sends off Men’s Basketball for Final Four

On Wednesday, April 2, Auburn students, faculty and residents attended the Reverse Tiger Walk, a celebratory send-off for Auburn men's basketball to wish the team well in their upcoming Final Four matchup. Excited attendees donned in orange and blue showed their support, as the team prepared to travel to San Antonio, Texas to play against the University of Florida on Saturday night.

Yet, the most poignant reminder of Auburn’s military appreciation is the Tigers who wear and serve the Stars and Stripes on- and off-campus.
