The 2016 Miss America Competition will have an "America's Choice" contestant in the semi-finals this year, according to the Miss America website. Meg McGuffin, Miss Alabama 2015, can be voted to be the "Fan Choice Contestant" by fans across the country.
Fans can vote via Twitter and Facebook by tweeting the key word "Alabama" and using the hashtag, #MissAmericaVote. Twitter accounts must be set to public.

One Facebook vote and one twitter vote can be cast per day.
Voting will end Thursday, Sept. 10 at 10:59 p.m.
The contestant who receives the most votes and who is not selected to participate in the semi-finals already, will be declared the "Fan Choice Contestant."
The winner will be announced Sunday, Sept. 13 during the 2016 Miss America Pageant television special airing on ABC at 8 p.m.
