A police pursuit that started in Tallapoosa County ended in a crash in Auburn on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 21.
The suspect stole a Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck in Alexander City and led police on a chase that ended at the intersection of Drake Avenue and Donahue Drive.
According to Tallapoosa County Sheriff Jimmy Abbett, the truck was reported stolen in Alexander City and was observed by a Tallapoosa County Sheriff's deputy.
Auburn Police assisted in the chase, according to Auburn Police Chief Paul Register.
After the crash, the suspect was taken into custody.
