The recalled product is in 16.3-ounce jars with a "Best if Used By" date of DEC1416LR1, with a package UPC code of 37600-10500. These are listed on the lid of the jar.
No other sizes, varieties or packaging configurations have been recalled.
No reports of consumer injuries or complaints have been received by Hormel, according to the release.
According to the release, the consumer should return the product to the store where they purchased it for a refund or call Hormel Foods Customer Relations at 1-866-475-4779 Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
