Auburn beats Coastal Carolina in first nonconference road win in three years

Auburn stretched its win streak to three Wednesday night, as the Tigers won their first non-conference road game in three years with an 81-78 win over Coastal Carolina.

Tyler Harris notched his second career double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds, and five other Tigers reached double figures in the win.

T.J. Dunans scored 10 points along with five assists and two steals, Kareem Canty contributed 11 points, TJ Lang added 14 points, and Bryce Brown and Cinmeon Bowers each had 12 points.

Auburn (4-1) led 44-37 at the half and stretched its lead to as much as 18 points in the second half before the Chanticleers went on a 27-10 run to pull within one point.

With 11.7 seconds to go, Canty sank two free throws to put Auburn up three, and Coastal Carolina missed the potential game-tying three-pointer as the buzzer sounded.
