An Auburn man who allegedly robbed a two people at gunpoint Saturday, Dec. 5, has been arrested, according to the Auburn Police Division.
Tacoya Cobb, 27, was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and second-degree assault, police said in a press release Tuesday, Dec. 8.
Police said Cobb was one of two people who approached a man and a woman at midnight Saturday, Dec. 5, and demand money and cell phones at gunpoint.
The two suspects took a cell phone from the victims before they fled, according to police.
Paramedics treated the male victim for a minor injury.
Police said an investigation led to Cobb being developed as a suspect.
Cobb was taken to the Lee County Jail, and he is being held on a $250,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
