The Overall Company is known around Auburn and Opelika for its pops and coffees.
The company has recently decided to take its business to a new, more exciting location, which it is keeping secret until January.
Laura Pritchard, CFO and co-founder of The Overall Company, said she and her husband Jay brought their passion for hospitality and adventure to Opelika, the place they met.
"We believe business is a reflection of the heart," Laura said.
While the first location of the The Overall Company was located in Opelika, its pops could be found in other locations such as Auburn's campus and Montgomery.
Laura said Opelika was a great place to start the business – they got to watch the business grow in the smaller town and were able to experiment as needed.
"Because it is [a] relatively small [town] with a Mayberry-type aspect, you talk to your customers and know what they think," Laura said.
Most of the company's decisions are made with customers in mind. She said customers will appreciate the new location and really get into it, according to Laura.
Laura said The Overall Company is moving locations because they were in a place of stagnation.
"Jay and I are not the same people we were three years ago," Laura said. "What we want to do and how we want to do it is shifting a great deal, therefore our business has to shift."
The first location of The Overall Company closed Nov. 27, and the opening of the new location will be announced in January.
"Our new model is the rebirth of The Overall Company, reflecting a regenerated, more amazing version of itself than the old model," Laura said.
