The Auburn Tiger football team will take on the Penn State Nittany Lions in 2021 and 2022 as part of a home-and-home series, athletic director Jay Jacobs announced Monday.
The first matchup will take place in State College, Pennsylvania on September 18, 2021 in Beaver Stadium. The next year, the Nittany Lions will travel to the Plains to take on Auburn in Jordan-Hare Stadium on September 17, 2022.
Auburn and Penn State have split two previous match ups, with the Tigers winning the latest one in the 2003 Capital One Bowl in Orlando, Florida. The contest in 2021 will mark the first time Auburn has faced a BIG TEN conference opponent in the regular season.
