An Auburn man was arrested and charged with manslaughter on Tuesday, July 5.
Kennedy Lee Harris was arrested as a result of an Auburn Police investigation into the shooting death of David Green, 46, at Swann’s Mobile Home Park on Saturday, July 2nd.
Harris, who is an acquaintance of Green, shot him during an altercation at a residence in Swann’s Mobile Home Park, according to a press release.
Green was transported to East Alabama Medical Center and was later pronounced dead. Harris turned himself in to detectives and was taken into custody. The case remains under investigation by Auburn Police and no other arrest are anticipated, the release states.
Harris was transported to the Lee County Detention Facility and is being held on a $25,000 bond.
