Cody Lamar Walker, a 27-year-old man from Auburn, was arrested by the Auburn Police Division Friday, Aug. 5, on felony warrants charging him with second degree burglary and first degree sexual abuse.
Walker was arrested after police received a call at 3:50 a.m. and responded to an in-progress burglary at a home in the 800 block of West Longleaf Drive. A suspect entered the occupied apartment illegally and "inappropriately touched" a 24-year-old female, according to police.
The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, but police were able to lcoate a vehicle matching a description provided to the police. Officers identified Walker as the driver of the vehicle, and he was identified as a suspect after further investigation.
Walker is being held in the Lee County Jail on a $3,000 bond.
