Auburn Police Division has made an arrest for the unlawful entry of a vehicle parked at Eagles West apartment complex on West Magnolia Avenue.
APD said Jamichael E. Payne, 25, was arrested on a felony warrant charging him with unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle. Later investigations resulted in Payne's identification as the individual who was seen pulling on car handles and entering a 1999 Toyota Camry.
Police were initially called and given a description of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot along with an individual pulling on car door handles. According to APD, Payne was taken into custody and has been transported to Lee County Jail on a $3,000 bond.
