Auburn students can take part in an autumn tradition in the coming weeks.
The Cross-Cultural Center for Excellence at the University will be hosting the “Festival of Lights” in celebration of Diwali, a five-day celebration observed by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and some Buddhists.
The celebration is done in the fall and usually, includes fireworks and many lights.
Auburn Global will have the festival gathering in the Student Center Ballroom at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 21, 2017.
All Auburn students are welcome to take part in this cultural festival and experience it with fellow students. You do not have to be of any religion or background to attend.
Tickets for the event are being sold on the Haley Concourse until Oct. 17, 2017.
