The Auburn High School Tigers will be shutting down the streets this week.
Roar on the Corner, a school spirit event for Auburn High, is scheduled for Thursday.
A parade will begin at 5 p.m. on Thach Avenue and continue along a route that includes portions of College and Gay streets and Magnolia Avenue.
Streets on the parade route will close at 4:30 p.m. and reopen after the parade concludes, but Magnolia Avenue between College and Gay streets will stay closed until the end of the pep rally.
Early on Thursday, from 4 to 7 a.m., Auburn's Public Works Department will perform unrelated maintenance on the bricks of Toomer's Corner's streets.
Lanes won't be closed during the maintenance, but delays are expected. The City of Auburn said it recommends motorists take an alternate route to avoid traffic.
