Fab'rik, the women’s clothing boutique, will open in downtown Auburn on Thursday.

Fab’rik has a boutique shopping experience with trendy styles at affordable prices. Fab’rik Auburn is locally owned and operated by Tanya Fuller, who will work alongside her daughters to bring high style with heart to downtown Auburn.

“I have owned businesses for the past 30 years, but this venture is particularly special to me because I will have the opportunity to work with my daughters on a shared passion,” Fuller said. “Having visited fab’rik boutiques in Destin and Atlanta, I was always impressed that all four of us could find something we loved at fab’rik, regardless of age, size or style. Above all, I was drawn to the heart behind business, and its commitment to celebrating and empowering women in stores and beyond. We look forward to helping women feel beautiful, inside and out.”

On Thursday, from 5-8 p.m., fab’rik Auburn will host a grand opening event featuring sips and small bites from LiveOaks, giveaways from local businesses and the chance to register for a 30-second free shopping spree. Fab'rik is located in downtown Auburn at at 140 N. College Street, Suite 102.

Dana Spinola found fab'rik in 2002. She aimed to create a clothing boutique where every woman could afford to feel beautiful.

In 2009, fab’rik launched its non-profit arm, free fab'rik, which provides free shopping sprees to survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, addiction and other hardships.

Later in 2012, fab’rik launched an in-house designed clothing line called Asher. A portion of proceeds from the Asher collection go directly to nonprofit Project 82 Kenya to provide financial support for orphans awaiting adoption.

“We invite the community to shop our Asher line, featuring bold prints and comfortable silhouettes that imbue confidence the moment you put them on,” Fuller said. “Each Asher purchase helps to support our store’s sponsor child through Project 82 Kenya. We also plan to partner with local organizations here in Auburn to host free shopping sprees for women and girls in need through our nonprofit arm, free fab’rik. We are excited to see the collective impact our store will have both locally and abroad, thanks to the support of our customers.”

The store's goal in Auburn is to offer a personalized shopping experience where each customer feels welcome, celebrated and valued. In-store stylists are available to help customers shop for any occasion. The store also offers after-hours VIP shopping parties for groups, including complimentary refreshments and special offers.

“At fab’rik, we believe clothing can change lives,” said founder Dana Spinola. “Our stores exist to make people feel special by wowing them with unparalleled service and high-quality fashion without attitude or sticker shock. We’re excited for the opportunity to bring fab’rik’s High Style with Heart mission to Auburn and the surrounding communities.”
