An Auburn man and three juveniles were arrested on charges of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and theft of property to the fourth after a brief foot pursuit.
On Aug. 11, Auburn Police Division arrested Nakevious Deon Thomas, 19 of Opelika, and three juveniles from Auburn at approximately 3 a.m. in the 200 block of Armstrong Street.
According to police, an APD officer was patrolling an apartment complex when he observed three males shining flashlights and looking into vehicles.
Officers responded and attempted to contact the males, who then fled on foot, the police report stated.
One the brief foot pursuit ended, a fourth juvenile suspect was identified, police said.
Thomas was transported to Lee County Jail and is being held on a $4,000 bond. The juveniles were transferred to the Lee County Youth Development Center Detention Facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
