Auburn has moved up the AP poll to No. 7 following a win over then-No. 6 Washington.

Auburn is joined by Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State, LSU, South Carolina and Florida as one of six schools from the Southeastern Conference in the top 25. The Tigers’ next ranked matchup will be at home against No. 11 LSU (1-0) on Sept. 15.

"We've got a lot of things that we can correct," Gus Malzahn said after the win over Washington. "But I'm just proud of our team that the way that we won -- and sometimes it's how you win a game that can help you later in the season. So real proud of our guys."

Returning home to Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn (1-0) will play Alabama State on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CST.
