Auburn soccer rises to No. 10 in national poll

Auburn continues to soar up national polls, appearing at No. 10 in the United Soccer Coaches poll.

Auburn is coming off a California road trip where the Tigers posted back-to-back shutout wins against Cal State Fullerton and Long Beach State to rise to 6-0-0 for the season.

The 6-0-0 start to the season is the third in school history and first since 2015. Auburn is one of four teams in the country that remain with a pure 6-0-0 record. The Tigers join No. 9 Tennessee and No. 5 Texas A&M as the only SEC schools in the top 10.

Auburn leads the country is assists (24) and points (62) and is tied for third goals (19). The Tigers are outscoring opponents 19-2.

The top-10 appearance is the first since starting last season at No. 10.

The Tigers come back to The Plains this weekend against Cincinnati on Sunday at 12 p.m. CST.
