Christian Brown, 30, and Michael Priester, 21, were arrested by the Auburn Police Division on Wednesday for multiple charges related to a reported robbery.

According to police, Brown, from New York City and Priester, from Columbia, South Carolina, are being charged with robbery second degree, burglary first degree, theft of property first degree, receiving stolen property first degree and fleeing/attempting to elude officers.

On Wednesday at approximately 12:35 p.m., APD responded to the 500 block of Southview Drive in reference to a robbery. The complainant said that two men entered a woman's residence, took the keys to her vehicle among other things and drove away in her vehicle.

Officers located the vehicle on Bent Creek Road shortly after and found it to be occupied by Brown and Priester. The men were then taken into custody.

A search of Southview Drive located a 2013 Honda Civic reported stolen out of South Carolina. APD had attempted to stop the car about an hour prior but the vehicle eluded police.

The men are suspects in all of these crimes. Brown and Priester have been transported to the Lee County Jail where they will each be held on an $88,000 bond.
