In a town like Auburn, bars and restaurants know that wings are paramount to a good game day experience. After nearly 300 votes from the community, Baumhower’s Victory Grill has won Plainsman’s choice for best wings for the second year in a row.
Baumhower's prides itself on using fresh and local ingredients, and the wings are no exception. The restaurant uses fresh and never frozen hormone-free chicken to provide customers with high-quality food.
Kevin Tudhope, owner of Auburn’s branch of Baumhower's, stated that winning in Auburn was rewarding and they want to continue to serve the students.
“We have worked extremely hard to make Baumhower’s Victory Grille a place where AU students would feel at home and be their favorite sports bar and grille to dine out at," Tudhope said. "From our partnerships with AU Athletics to our NIL partnerships with student-athletes we have become a favorite amongst the students.”
With 9 locations in Alabama, the Auburn location is located on Bent Creek Road and received over 34% of the votes, winning against VooDoo Wings, Wings Etc and Wing Stop.
"We are extremely excited to get voted for this and we will continue to strive to be the student's favorite wings and favorite place to eat and watch AU sports. War Eagle."
For those interested in trying out the Plainsman's Choice’s best wings, the local Baumhower’s is open seven days a week from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday
