Looking at how Missouri has played so effectively as a team this year, it's hard to see Auburn rallying to the cause. Hugh Freeze will try to light a fire under his team, but the disorganization and small mistakes are going to pile up, sending Auburn's SEC recording crashing down to 0-4.

Reid Farris, Assistant Sports Editor: Missouri 17-14

"I think Auburn will come out swinging again against the Missouri Tigers and likely take the upper hand early. I would expect them to try and stretch the field and finally try to take some deep shots with the offense and its weapons but that does not mean that they will be successful with those plays. I think that the Missouri pass rush is going to make it very difficult for the Auburn Tigers to get a consistent offensive push throughout the game with their struggles up front.

On the offensive side for Missouri that the dual threat ability of quarterback Beau Pribula along with the extreme rushing attack led by Ahmad Hardy will be just enough to get Missouri over the edge in a major bounce back game for them and a major devastation for this Auburn team."

Rory Garvin, Sports Reporter: 24-21 Auburn

In my opinion, Hugh Freeze's job is on the line tonight, and his team will rise to the occasion. Expect a defensive battle down the stretch and Auburn's offense to finally show up in the clutch.

Gunner Norene, Sports Writer: Missouri 21-13

"This is one of the biggest games of Hugh Freeze's career, and it could even be his last if Auburn were to lose and perform as poorly as it has in the past few weeks on the offensive side of the ball. I expect the Tigers' defense to keep them in this game, as they have against Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Georgia, but until I see the offense take steps in the right direction, I don't have any faith in Auburn's ability to win close games. Freeze and company must make the proper adjustments at halftime to put his team in a position to succeed, and if he fails to do so once again, there's a solid chance Freeze finds himself out of a job come Sunday morning.

This is another golden opportunity for Freeze to prove that he is capable of competing at this level. Under the lights at Jordan-Hare in a hostile environment, it's now or never for Freeze."

Will Dembo, Sports Writer: Auburn 27-24

This weekend’s game in Jordan-Hare will be a crucial matchup for both Tiger teams as Missouri looks to bounce back from a heartbreaking loss to the Crimson Tide, while Freeze and Auburn aim to pick up their first conference victory of the year. With many questions revolving around the plains, Freeze knows his team must step up and compete at their best against a talented Mizzou unit for just a glimpse of faith. Ahmad Hardy will be the player to watch on Saturday as the Missouri running back is second in the nation in rushing yards and has helped lead his offense to 43.7 points per game. If DJ Durkin’s defense is able to contain Hardy and the run game, I like Auburn’s odds in Jordan-Hare. Although I may regret this prediction after the previous few weeks of struggle and would normally expect another crushing defeat, I believe Arnold will be able to overcome some early adversity and carry this Tigers team to a close, gritty win behind a home crowd under the lights.
