The SEC has officially announced the conference schedule for the 2026-27 men’s basketball season, highlighted by Auburn's regular-season finale against Alabama at Neville Arena.
The Tigers will begin SEC play on Jan. 2 with a matchup against Texas A&M on the road before returning to Auburn for back-to-back home games against Tennessee and Georgia. The Tigers will also face Texas in the Lone Star State right after, meaning Auburn will face four straight conference opponents that reached last season's NCAA Tournament.
January will be a very notable month for the Tigers, as they are also set to face Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, LSU, Mississippi State and Alabama. February will also be eventful, featuring key home matchups against Oklahoma, Florida, Mizzou and LSU.
The road schedule, on the other hand, includes games against South Carolina, Arkansas, Kentucky and Ole Miss, which can be key in shaping Auburn's postseason chances.
Auburn’s regular season will end with the Iron Bowl of Basketball, as Auburn will host Alabama on March 6 in Neville Arena in one of the most anticipated games of the entire year. The SEC Tournament will follow right after, spanning from March 10-14 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Game times and television channel assignments will be announced in the upcoming weeks. Auburn will play 18 total SEC games before flipping its attention to tournament competition.
