On Tuesday, April 22, Auburn UPC hosted their Earth Day Extravaganza. Over 20 on-campus and community organizations showcased their causes through informational graphics and fun activities. The event, which ran from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., consisted of activities like flower bouquet making, free food, t-shirt stamping and other crafts.

There were 32,756 eligible student voters for this year’s Student Government Association election, with 9,971 students casting their vote to make their voices heard. This is 30.44% voter turnout.

Auburn University celebrates active and non-active military officers throughout the year, from Veterans Day ceremonies to Bald Eagle and aircraft flyovers in Jordan-Hare. Yet, the most poignant reminder of Auburn’s military appreciation are the Tigers who wear and serve the Stars and Stripes on- and off-campus. Veterans Affairs and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps provide resources and training to Auburn students, whether returning from active duty, training for service or living as a military dependent.

Coming in the fall of 2024 is the first set of incoming freshmen to join a new major introduced by the College of Veterinary Medicine, Public and One Health. Although multiple universities incorporate a One Health model into public health programs, Auburn University is the first institution to create a public and One Health major.
