Two days after Auburn men's basketball head coach Bruce Pearl and the Tigers face Final Four opponent Oklahoma in the "Birthday of Basketball," the team will travel to Hartford, Connecticut to take on the UCONN Huskies on Dec. 23. The matchup will be the first of two contests between the teams, the second occurring in Auburn Arena in 2017.

team have agreed to play the Oklahoma Sooners in the Naismith Memorial
Basketball Hall of Fame’s Birthday of Basketball in December. The event will
take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, on Dec. 21. It will be the first time the Tigers and Sooners have met on the court
since the 1998 NCAA Tournament.

finished 10th in the shot put on Thursday, earning her third
All-American honors in the event. Muzaric's best throw of the day, a 16.55/54-3.75, was her first of three throws. Muzaric did all of this while
competing in her third and final NCAA Championships.

Auburn head football coach Gus Malzahn signed a contract extension on Monday that extends through the 2020 season. The agreement was signed on April 1 and states that Malzahn will make $4.725 million per year through Dec. 31, 2020. The buyout figure in Malzahn's contract still stands at $2,237,500 per year through the end of the deal.

Former Auburn All-American golfer Dominic Bozzelli won the inaugural Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship on Sunday. This victory marked Bozzelli’s first career Web.com Tour win and earned him the number six spot on the money list. Before this victory, Bozzelli was sitting in the 37th spot on the money list.

The 2015 Women’s College World Series elimination game between Auburn and UCLA was back and forth before a 10th inning walk off walk captured the victory for the Tigers. The two teams will face off again in the first day of the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Thursday afternoon.

After a season full of historic firsts for the Auburn tennis team, Pleun Burgmans and Alizee Michaud finished the season ranked ninth, which is a the highest finish for a doubles team in Tiger women’s tennis history. Because of their finish, Burgmans and Michaud were named ITA All-Americans.

A big sixth inning for Arizona proved to be too much for the Tigers on Saturday as they dropped game one of the NCAA Super Regional. More brilliant pitching from the Wildcat ace, Danielle O’Toole, pushed Arizona to a 5-3 victory, earned her a 26th victory of the season, and gave Arizona the series lead in the Auburn Super Regional. O’Toole allowed just two hits in seven innings of work for the Wildcats.

Winning three games in three days in the NCAA Softball Tournament Regional pushed the Auburn softball team to their second straight super regional appearance. Now, Hall of Fame coach Clint Meyers of Auburn and Hall of Fame coach Mike Candrea of Arizona are set to face off this weekend on the plains.

Auburn Basketball has agreed to travel to Fort Worth to take on the TCU Horned Frogs as a part of next seasons Big12/ SEC Challenge. This will be the third time in the past four years the Tigers have played in the challenge on the road, only facing Oklahoma State in Auburn Arena last season.

The Auburn bats came alive again in Saturday’s 6-1 rout of USC Upstate. After a historic performance in last week’s SEC Tournament against the No. 1 Florida Gators, pitcher Kaylee Carlson returned to the circle Saturday and threw a complete game. Carlson gave up only one run on three hits and struck out two. She improved to 16-1 on the season.
