Bass fishing team headed to nationals

The Auburn University Bass Fishing Team is sending three teams to Carhartt College Bass Nationals to compete with 90 other teams around the U.S., according to the team's Facebook page and Track 'Em Tigers.

LAUNCH awards help professors with research

After presenting their projects as finalists to a panel at the Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center, three professors have been rewarded with funding from the Fund for Research and Innovation at University by LAUNCH.  LAUNCH is conceived by the Auburn University Research Advisory Board, an endowed fund that is utilized to make operations between innovative research and the marketplace easier.

First-ever grants from Auburn between Auburn and Cuban Universities

Six new research projects are now underway and due to the funding of the first-ever grants awarded by the Auburn University and the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station- Cuba Grants program. The projects were set to encourage and further the academic collaboration between AAES researchers and scientist at both Auburn University and Cuban Agricultural Universities and research centers.

Board approves several renovation projects, Leach Science Center addition

The Board of Trustees approved several renovation projects at its Friday, June 10 meeting. The Haley Center Quad, the Gavin Engineering Research Building and Broun Hall will undergo renovations. Haley Center The Haley Center Quad renovations will "facilitate the relocation of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics from Parker Hall and Allison Laboratory." The project will renovate approximately 40,000 square feet of space on the third floor of Haley Center Quads One and Two, according to Associate Vice President for Facilities Dan King.
