Gnu's hosts night of laughs

Amateur comedians braved the microphone and a live crowd Friday night at The Gnu's Room.The cafe/bookstore provided a venue for young comedians to display their comedy prowess as they performed in the "Who Gnu It'd Be So Funny Comedy Show."

Therapy grooves to its third title

For the third year in a row, the Auburn sextet Therapy rocked Battle of the Bands and claimed first place, earning a prize of $400.The second-place winner, Just Marked, won a $300 cash prize, and third-place winner, Blame Sydney!, took home $200.

Engineering program offers students free summer in India

The search is on for participants in an all-expenses-paid summer abroad program for two months in India.The program is made possible through Laboratory for Innovative Technology and Engineering Education, a research group at Auburn, and funding from the National Science Foundation's International Research Experience for Students.

Of the 24,000 students who attend Auburn, only approximately 4,000 live in on-campus residence halls.On-campus regulations include rules against noise violations, pets, certain appliances, alcohol and illegal substances, and visitors of the opposite sex between midnight and noon.

Focus of sustainability for landscape architecture

The arboretum on campus is more than just a beautiful place to relax between classes--it also serves as a learning lab of sorts for students of landscape architecture.The graduate landscape architecture course "Sustainable Practices for Planning, Development and Design" is a hands-on class that includes three projects during the semester.
