Some of us are on multiple wait lists, while some of us are forced to take electives or classes we aren’t interested in. The question that constantly runs through my mind regarding this process, is why is there so much uncertainty with our schedules and with our graduation dates? More importantly, why is this the case when so many of us work hard and pay thousands of dollars a year to earn a degree within a certain timeframe?

For as long as I can remember there have been unwritten rules we must follow in order to not appear different. In America, any differences from the norm are seen as weakness, not strength. And unfortunately, the ultimate judgment people get for being unique actually comes from our peers.
When you get a pet, you are taking responsibility for another living being. You need to be in a place where you can, and want to make the pet a top priority.
Although we are a student media group that is supported by the University, we are not here to act as it's PR. We are here to learn and become credible journalists who do their job and tell the truth. We are not here to entertain you. We are here to inform you of the news. Auburn fans should take pride in the fact that there are many groups and organizations on campus that help students reach their fullest potential in their study of interest by providing opportunities to practice and learn. They should support those students, because they are just as much of a representation of the University as any athlete.

No matter what look you’re going for, khaki shorts are a good foundation to build an outfit around.
Most people go to the library to study with friends, or because the 4th floor keeps them more focused than they would be elsewhere. I use the library for studying the majority of the time, but I also use RBD for its archives and extensive book collection.
Auburn has no shortage of problems, and the Tigers need to find solutions immediately if they hope to avoid a disappointing season.
I really didn’t know much about the University, except it had a big football program, and I heard it couldn’t make up its mind about a mascot.
How many times has someone said to you, “Stay in college as long as possible?” It is a phrase I heard over and over again my first four years in college.
There has been a time in my life where I have questioned what it truly is to be generous. To act in complete selflessness for someone or something, in this case, a noble cause.
Majoring in more than one subject is not for everyone, but if there are multiple things you are passionate about I would advise you to go for it.
For many of us college students, we don't necessarily know who we are yet. You would think 21 or 22 years would be enough to figure it out.
My father taught me it is the job of every U.S. citizen to vote, and that is a belief I carried with me when I decided to vote here at Auburn.
There was something strange about the spaghetti. It was spicy. I later found out this was because of the hot sauce and cilantro. But perhaps the strangest thing was the tortillas the spaghetti was served with.
Football has long been the primary sport at Auburn and at other schools throughout the Southeast, but occasionally other sports step up and steal the spotlight. That is exactly what happened at Auburn in the 2014-15 athletic year. However, football wasn’t the only sport to struggle.
Over the past few years, my Facebook newsfeed has evolved rapidly into a catchall of my peers’ engagements, wedding announcements, babies, “My boyfriend will be the best husband,” anniversaries and kitschy seasonal couple photos.
I would say most people who were looking to attend college looked at a website’s ranking of the universities at least once.
