Social media sources indicate that DeAngelo Benton, the football player accused of provoking Desmonte Leonard on the night of the Auburn shooting earlier this year and suspended from Auburn's team because of an undisclosed team rule, has had his suspension lifted.

A university tapping into the potential of social media has become commonplace, but a university using social media to combat world hunger could be groundbreaking.

Domino's on W. Magnolia Avenue was the subject of controversy at the Sept. 4 City Council meeting when Councilperson Arthur Dowdell accused the franchise of refusing to deliver to his neighborhood on the basis of racial discrimination. Auburn in good hands despite Benton suspension

Over the past two seasons, an all-star offensive player has led the Auburn football team.Whether you look at Cam Newton in 2010 or Michael Dyer in 2011, one thing is clear: it was star power that gave the Tigers the competitive edge.
