There has been no shortage of preseason accolades bestowed on Auburn in advance of the 2015 season, and those accolades are continuing to roll in as the season draws near.

Quarterback Jeremy Johnson, defensive end Carl Lawson and wide receiver D’haquille “Duke” Williams were recognized as top 100 players in college football in ESPN’s annual rankings.

The rankings were compiled by 43 of ESPN’s college football writers, editors and analysts. The voters ranked each player on a scale of 1-10 based on their expected performance in 2015. The numbers were then averaged to determine each player’s score.

Johnson finished 61st with a score of 7, Lawson was ranked 51st with a score of 7.23 and Williams came in 35th with a 7.56 score.

Auburn also had three players selected for the list in 2014, as wide receiver Sammie Coates, center Reese Dismukes and quarterback Nick Marshall all made the cut.

The rankings can be viewed here.
