After a strong showing by freshman pitcher Daniel Koger, the Missouri Tigers came from behind to take game three of Auburn's season-opening series 4-3.
Koger pitched five innings, giving up five hits and one run while striking out five and walking three.
Auburn led the game 3-1 at the beginning of the seventh inning, but the lead quickly disappeared after four Mizzou batters were walked. A bunt single scored another run, and a sacrifice fly gave Missouri the lead.
The game was shortened to seven innings due to Missouri's time restrictions for travel back to Columbia. Auburn reliever Zach Blatt was charged with the loss in the Tigers' second-consecutive defeat.
