Auburn returns to the friendly confines of Plainsman Park Friday for the Auburn Tournament after a road trip to Tuscon, Ariz., last weekend.

After the Auburn Tournament, the Tigers face the University of Alabama (4-3) in the Capital City Classic, which will be played in Montgomery at Riverwalk Stadium.

The Tigers are 3-0 against the Crimson Tide in the Capital City Classic and will look to defeat an Alabama team that has scored 57 runs while only allowing 14 this year.

After losing all three games in their opening series against Florida Atlantic, Alabama won their next four, sweeping a three-game series against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and defeating South Alabama.

The Crimson Tide are led in batting by Jared Reaves, who is hitting a .364 with eight hits, four RBIs and a home run.

Starting pitcher Justin Kamplain has a 3.38 ERA, giving up six hits and striking out 10 in eight innings.
