Auburn baseball won the first of two games Saturday, Feb. 16.
A run-filled fifth inning by Auburn solidified the team's lead and they cruised to the win,defeating Maine 12-3. Garrett Cooper's two-run home run put the Tigers up 10-1 and was the last score of the five-run inning.
The Tigers took advantage of four Maine errors during the game and were led by the pitching of Justin Camp. For four innings Camp managed the game, allowing only two runs to earn his first career victory.
